A Focus Group is an in-person or online round-table discussion on products, services or community issues that you use or affect you directly. Focus Groups discussions are moderated by market research professionals and usually last between 1-2 hours.
Research studies can hold a variety of formats, like taste tests, product trials, in-home interviews, one-on-one in-person, shop-along interviews, phone interviews. There is also an increase in online research being done these days which you are able to do these from the comfort of your own home. These usually include a “blog-style” format and/or also a series of online activities, questionairres and surveys you are asked to complete to help the researchers get a better idea of your thoughts and opinions.
When you’re done, you are compensated for your time and opinions.

Honest Recruiting will match your information to the research studies they need to fill. If your information seems to match, we will call or e-mail you to ask if you are interested and available for the study. You will then be screened and asked a series of questions to see if you qualify for the study. If we determine you are qualified we will invite you to participate.
Once you successfully complete the research (in-person or online), you will be paid by either us OR the facility where the research has taken place. Usually cash, check, gift card or digital incentives.
The basis of market research is to gather the opinions of groups or individuals that either use or do not use a certain product/ service or share or do not share a certain set of opinions or beliefs. There are many studies where your answers will simply not meet the criteria set by our client.
